West Bottoms Beer Fest taps in at Hy-Vee Arena on September 6
West Bottoms Beer Fest returns this weekend with a variety of brews, including some Pitch fan-favorites.
The afternoon event features over 100 craft beers, seltzers, kombuchas, and ciders from the top local and national breweries. The festivities occur on Saturday, September 6, with games, music, and food from local vendors.
Participant Cervecieria Oro is one of Kansas City’s newest brewers. Developed by the team at Tacos Valentina, Oro Especial is a Mexican lager at 4.5% ABV.
Participants Cinder Block Brewery and Transparent Brewing Company each won fan awards for their beer in the 2024 Best of KC contest, and Barley and Vine was voted best new brewery.
General admission is $45, which includes a tasting glass and unlimited samples from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. VIP admission is $65, offering access to the event an hour before the general public, a custom souvenir pint glass, a special event t-shirt, access to multiple VIP areas, as well as unlimited samples. This event benefits the KC Urban Academy, an organization that empowers Kansas City’s urban youth through baseball and softball.
