Wesley Watson, convicted sex offender, accused of pretending to be police officer, raping woman in KCK

Wesley Watson isn’t a cop. He’s a 55-year-old convicted sex offender. And now he’s accused of posing as a police officer, kidnapping a woman and raping her in the parking lot of a Best Buy on Parallel Parkway in Kansas City, Kansas, according to KMBC Channel 9.

Watson is accused of kidnapping and raping the woman last Monday around

1:30 p.m. He allegedly confronted the woman in the parking lot of

Walmart and accused her of shoplifting. Watson is then accused of

putting the woman in a vehicle, driving her to the Best Buy parking lot

and raping her. The sad thing is, this could have been prevented.
