Wavves crashing into the Jackpot next week

Fresh off a tour with Fucked Up, Wavves is making a last-minute stop at the Jackpot in Lawrence next Wednesday, October 5. The band’s surf-laden, hooky garage punk is damned near addictive, and you’d do well to check it out in such intimate confines. Advance tickets go on sale Friday.

The band recently released the EP Life Sux, a follow-up to 2010’s King of the Beach, as well as a split 7-inch with Best Coast. Both releases are out now on Ghost Ramp.
