Watch Sporting KC’s Julio Cesar score the goal of the year

Sporting Kansas City defender Julio Cesar was having a frustrating first half in Saturday’s game against Toronto FC at Livestrong Sporting Park. He had two shots narrowly miss the net, before Graham Zusi hit him with a corner kick in the 35th minute. The cross was spot-on, and Cesar blasted it out of the air and into the net. It starts at 1:10 in the above video. It’s the kind of goal that even soccer haters will be stunned by. Appropriately, it’s up for MLS goal of the week.
