So you want to be a cop? Your chance comes today. The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department is looking for “qualified local candidates.” If you fit that category, then head to the open house at Police Headquarters (700 Minnesota Avenue in KCK) between 4 and 8 p.m. to fill out an application (see it here).

If you have questions about what a qualified candidate is, there will be HR reps there to answer questions. Expect to be fingerprinted, though.
