‘Vortex of Sound,’ a new local digital split EP series

Last week, Dedric Moore of Monta sent over an advance of Fuoco Infernale, the band’s latest album of downtempo dream-rock. It’s good stuff — look for a review here soon — and it’s out November 9 on Upstairs Recordings, a boutique label based in Vancouver.

In the meantime, Moore and Jeremiah James (who plays in local acts Mannequin Skywalker and Be/Non) have started up a monthly mini-EP release series that they’re calling “Vortex of Sound.”
