Video of puppy getting slapped around doesn’t lead to charges

This is not pleasant. A Slater, Missouri, man has sparked a controversy after taping himself sparring with a puppy. The Kansas City Star’s pet section has the story of Daisy, an 8-week-old beagle pup, getting slapped around on a couch.

The video shows the owner repeatedly slapping and jabbing at the dog and mocking her. Daisy yelps and snarls and attempts to nip at and ward off the man. But he continues to harass the dog — at one point picking her up and shaking her — for almost four minutes. You can watch the video here,
