Victims describe stabbings in parking garage near Power & Light District

The victims of a June 28 stabbing near the Power & Light District are telling KMBC Channel 9 that they were treated  like “criminals” and claim a cop told them “this is what you get when you live the thug life.”

The victims told Channel 9 that they’re college students and law school grads, not gang members.

The incident started with a bump on the dance floor inside Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge and ended up in a fight, the victims told Channel 9. Bouncers tossed everyone involved out of the bowling alley/night club and escorted them off P&L property. But the incident didn’t end there.

In a parking garage a block away, the victims claim they were jumped and stabbed. Channel 9 has the gruesome details and a slideshow of the stab wounds.
