Up the Academy, ‘Gimme Gimme’ (mp3)

In addition to his duties as part of Kid Congo Powers’ Pink Monkey Birds, Up the Academy frontman and guitarist Ron Miller also helps run the Harveyville Project with Nikol Lohr. Despite Miller’s busy life, Up the Academy has recorded its debut single, “Gimme Gimme,” with “Pretty Bird,” and it’s the first non-compilation release from Replay Records. The record-release show is at the Replay (natch) on Thursday, April 12. That night only, you’ll be able to pick the single for a measly three bucks.
