UMKC’s U-News editor complains of ‘bullying’ after controversial editorial

Ever since the editors of the U-News retracted an issue containing an ill-advised editorial titled “Do I have a booger?” from newsstands, the student newspaper of the University of Missouri-Kansas City has been experiencing backlash.

Now, in the November 8 edition of the paper’s Forum section — the section in which the offending article first ran — editor-in-chief Melissa Oribhabor contends that the university’s administration is “condoning bullying” against the paper and staff.
