UMB president gets his moment on The Daily Show

Spotted on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart last night: Peter deSilva, the president and chief operating officer of UMB. In this clip, deSilva shows up around 1:03 to share his thoughts about last week’s vice presidential debate in St. Louis. The Daily Show’s John Oliver chides him for taking the debate seriously. “Go to the circus if you want to be entertained. This is a professional debate tonight and it’s for the future of our country,” deSilva tells him.

“Cut his mike off,” Oliver says.

“We’re done,” deSilva replies, then walks off.
