Tyshawn Taylor’s indefinite suspension has expired. So has Marisha Brown’s. Hmm …

Tyshawn Taylor is no longer indefinitely suspended from the Kansas Jayhawks. Kansas basketball

coach Bill Self has reinstated the junior guard, who had been suspended indefinitely

for violating team rules.

Taylor missed Jayhawk victories against Oklahoma State and Oklahoma, but he’ll be back on the court tonight to face Texas A&M. The Star awkwardly noted in today’s story about Taylor’s reinstatement that KU women’s

basketball player Marisha Brown was also suspended last Monday

but played in last night’s 72-36 loss to Iowa State.

Why is that awkward? Take this bit of connect-the-dots from Sports By

Brooks.
