Twoday: Twestival at Twower Twavern

Some local Twitter fanatics are getting together today to drink for charity and listen to bands on Union Hill. Kansas City Twestival 2009 starts at 6 p.m. at Tower Tavern (401 E. 31st St.). $25 buys admission and all the Boulevard you can drink, and the proceeds go to Charity:Water. This video, made by one of the local organizers, pretty much explains the deal.

The featured entertainment is courtesy of Two Seconds Away and Kyle Blake. I haven’t heard of either of those bands/artists, but all in all, this looks like a pretty cool event.
