Two men found slain behind apartment complex on Indiana; Scott Smith shot to death

UPDATE (4:25 p.m.):  The victims of Sunday morning’s double homicide at 33rd and Indiana have been identified as 26-year-old Oscar Owens and 24-year-old Aeson

Griffin, both of Kansas City, Missouri. No suspects are in custody.

Original Story (6 a.m.): Sunday morning was deadly in Kansas City, Missouri. Police were investigating three homicides at two crime scenes, taking the total number of homicides to 45 for 2011.
