Two dead in separate shootings in Kansas City, Kansas, over the weekend

UPDATE (9:41 a.m.): The victim of Saturday night’s homicide on North 38th Street is 21-year-old Carlos Hernandez of KCK.

The victim of Sunday morning’s homicide on North 34th Street has been identified as 46-year-old Anthony Mims of KCK.

Original Story (5 a.m.): Kansas City, Kansas, homicide detectives investigated two killings over the weekend. The first came Saturday night around 10:30 p.m. when an unnamed man was found shot to death in the 1400 block of North 38th Street, according to the Star. There were few details in that case.
