Twinkies will be back on shelves in July
The price of old Twinkies for sale on eBay is about to plummet. Michael Cramer, executive vice president of Hostess Brands, told NBC News today that the golden, cream-stuffed cakes will be back on store shelves “probably the latter half of the month.”
After Hostess went bankrupt last November, production of all its products ceased. As The Pitch discovered then, there were runs on all of Hostess treats and breads at their outlet stores. That soon led to cake hoarders selling them online for questionably inflated prices.
