Twin Attack

When the University of Kansas men’s basketball team last faced the Iowa State University Cyclones exactly a month ago in Ames, Iowa, badass KU juniors Marcus and Markieff Morris — identical twins, with matching tattoos — demonstrated why they both are likely bound for the NBA. The brothers combined for 50 points and 24 rebounds, leading the way to an 84-79 victory. At 3 p.m. at Allen Fieldhouse (1651 Naismith Drive in Lawrence), the No. 2-ranked Jayhawks (the team has lost only one game so far this season) host the unranked Cyclones, now enduring an especially weak season against Big 12 teams. Another victory for KU will continue a strong, promising sprint into the bracket-building madness of March.
