Tweeting Rainbow? LeVar Burton is coming to the KC Public Library and you can meet him

If you grew up on Reading Rainbow or Star Trek: The Next Generation, you for sure know LeVar Burton. The Kansas City Public Library is giving you a chance to meet Burton, and it’s just a tweet or a Facebook comment away.

Burton is in Kansas City on Friday, February 18. At 1:30 p.m., he’ll host an event with students from the Derrick Thomas Academy at the Central Library (14 West 10th Street). Then he’ll meet five winners from the Twitter/Facebook contest.
