Trucker playing its last show in Lawrence this weekend

Long-running Lawrence roots-rock group Trucker hasn’t been as active the last few years, but it seems that the band is really going into hybernation this weekend. Drummer Tom Barletta and lead guitarist Josh Basnett are moving, so while the rest of the band continues on in some manner, Trucker itself is going on “permanent hiatus.” You’ve two final chances to see them: opening for Oakhurst this Saturday, April 14, at the Bottleneck, and a full set at O’Malley’s in Manhattan on Saturday, May 5.
