Tristan R. Williams blames cats for the death of his 3-week-old daughter

Tristan R. Williams allegedly told a 911 dispatcher that cats in his apartment had overturned his 3-week-old daughter’s bouncing chair, leading to the child’s death, KSHB Channel 41 reports.

Prosecutors aren’t buying it and charged the 28-year-old Thursday with abuse of a child that resulted in death.

KSHB reports that Williams has had previous trouble with the Clay County

Division of Family Services (in 2002 for a case involving alleged neglect

of two other daughters, and in 2003 for lack of supervision of those

daughters).
