Trial of man accused of killing George Tiller likely to be delayed

Scott Roeder, the man accused of fatally shooting Wichita abortion provider George Tiller, is scheduled to go on trial on Monday.

But the trial is likely to be continued to a later date, the Wichita Eagle reported today.

Roeder can use the extra time to consider the “justifiable homicide” defense that he was contemplating last month.
