Wilfredo Melgar‘s life was clearly worth more than the items he

was killed over. Melgar was a husband and a father of two children. The 27-year-old was a store owner.

But Melgar’s life was snuffed out in 2009 by 21-year-old Travis Knott, who shot and killed him over $83, two cell phones and a pack of Newport cigarettes.
