Tony Hughes, 16, killed in drive-by shooting Saturday
A drive-by shooting left one young man dead and a young woman injured early Saturday morning.
Police say 16-year-old Tony Hughes was shot to death while sitting on a porch at 30th and Oakley around 3 a.m. Saturday.
A 17-year-old woman was also shot. At last word, she was listed in critical condition but expected to survive.
Detectives are still looking for suspects in the case. A witness saw a red passenger car drive by the victims and open fire.
Hughes is KCMO’s 50th homicide victim of 2012.
