Tony D. Garrett accused of killing Antwan Clark: Killa City homicide No. 5

Jackson County prosecutors charged Tony D. Garrett Tuesday with second-degree murder in the death of Antwan Clark.

Kansas City police say the recommended bond for Garrett, 27, is $150,000 cash.

The 22-year-old Clark was shot Sunday afternoon in the 2500 block of Chestnut and later died at a local hospital.

Witnesses

told police that they heard gunshots and then saw a black man wearing a

black jacket and stocking cap running from the scene.

Clark is Kansas City, Missouri’s third homicide victim of 2010.
