Tonight’s Thursday Night Football Matchup Cheapest Ticket Remaining On Dallas Schedule
The Dallas Cowboys were on top of the world just a couple of weeks ago. One big home loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Thanksgiving Day later, and things are inches toward an unraveling.
That doesn’t mean everything to this point has been wasted, however, as Tony Romo and co. have plenty of time to bounce back and solidify their spot in this year’s NFC playoff race. To see where they’ll wind up, let’s break down their cheapest and most expensive games left on the schedule in December:
Cheapest – @ Chicago Bears (12/4/2014) | Average Ticket Price: $185.79 | Get-in Ticket Price: $52 | Chicago parking at ParkWhiz.com: $16
Jay Cutler and the Bears welcome Dallas to Soldier Field in the cheapest game left on the Cowboys’ schedule. Chicago is likely out of the playoff race and hasn’t found much success on their own field, but they’re also insanely talented on offense and probably won’t want to end the year with more losses at home.
While Chicago might give Dallas a bit of a fight, the Cowboys should still be the favorites on the road in this one. It could end up being a shootout, but thanks to the Bears having a leaky defense both on the ground and through the air, Dallas should be able to do more than enough to squeak out a win.
Most Expensive – VS. Indianapolis Colts (12/21/14) | Average Ticket Price: $375.25 | Get-in Ticket Price: $141 | Cowboys Stadium parking: $13
Cowboys tickets climb their highest in December for this huge battle at home against Andrew Luck and the Colts. This isn’t even the season finale, yet it’s still the ‘Boys most expensive game of the final month due to so much star power and this matchup consisting of two potential division winners.
In addition to this being another big game in a long string of huge contests to end the year, it’s also a potentially explosive duel between Romo and Luck. Of course, if it’s up to the Cowboys, they’ll protect a vulnerable defense by running DeMarco Murray down Indy’s throat. With the home crowd backing them, they should be able to do just that as they inch closer to a return trip to the playoffs.
The Cowboys have a flawless record on the road, but have struggled at home with four losses to just three victories. A win here in their final home game of the regular season would be a nice way to move towards the postseason.
