Get a big dose tonight from the genre’s best modern exponent, Hot Club of Cowtown.

The trio is back in action and in town tonight to kick off its summer tour. Local fiddle hero Elana James, guitarist Whit Smith and bass player Jake Erwin play a $10 early show at 6 p.m. at Knuckleheads (2715 Rochester, 816-483-1456).
