Tonight! Brett Dennen at the Bottleneck

Listen up, Lawrence. Brett Dennen must be pretty cool if he can get Femi Kuti to sing on his new single and be in his video. And Mandy Moore, too. (I mean, she’s in the video, too, not, um, Femi … the dirty thing.) Oh, just watch.

So, yeah, Dennen, the Bay Area-based, blue-eyed, ginger-haired soul-folkster, returns to our area tonight, pimping his third and latest, Hope for the Hopeless. He’s supported by the actually very good southern California indie-pop band the Little Ones. Their song “Morning Tide” is the jam.

We can’t promise Femi or Mandy will be there. There probably will be barefooted people there, though. In any case, read about it tomorrow when our review gets posted.
