Tonight: Artist Appreciation Night @ Riot Room feat. James Christos

Expect the eclectic tonight at the Riot Room, when the Westport club that books metal bands, hip-hop acts, Americana poets, punk rockers and Dinosaur Jr.’s opens its doors for free to any and every musician who’s played there in the past year. It’s called Artist Appreciation Night, and we’re thinking it’s a good time to meet (and begin a black-out bender with) your next future ex. For us, sigh, non-artists, it costs $5 after 10 p.m. to get in.

Cheap, waste-you wells will be served up, and entertainment will be provided by James Christos and his DJ, Jamel Rockwell. If you don’t know who they are, your name must begin with Rip Van.
