Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers at Sprint Center on September 30

A joyous day for fans of American rock: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers announce a new album, Hypnotic Eye – the band’s first full-length in four years, to be released on July 29 – and a new North American tour. They stop at the Sprint Center on September 30. 

In an interview last month with Rolling Stone, Petty discussed the return to classic 1960s rock that you’ll hear on Hypnotic Eye: “I knew I wanted to do a rock & roll record. We hadn’t made a straight hard-rockin’ record, from beginning to end, in a long time.”
