Todd Tiahrt’s looking to break the bank with the help of Bill Bennett and Dennis Hastert

Todd Tiahrt wants your money, so he can take over Sam Brownback’s Senate seat (Brownback didn’t call “quack, quack seat back,” so he won’t be running for re-election). A couple of Tiahrt friendlies — super moralist Bill Bennett and former Republican Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert — will be coming to the Sunflower State to help him raise some dough at “invitation only” events.

Forget the invite-only fundraisers. Tiahrt should just let Bennett loose at the slots. Just keep the talk of young pages to a minimum.
