Timothy L. Wyrick gets 37 months at club fed for threatening Kansas Highway Patrolman

Making threats to a Kansas Highway Patrolman is a really bad idea.
Timothy L. Wyrick found out after leaving messages like this one for a trooper last year.
“You got to leave too early from your traffic stop! Had you in my
scope! Well, gonna be some good things happen tonight. Oh, I got your
burial site all done, ready for you. Bye, bye.”
Wyrick, a 33-year-old Bonner Springs man who worked for the highway patrol as a motorist assist technician, made several calls between March and mid-September 2009. Wyrick proved he could be extra creepy and stalker-y when making threats. Wyrick would call the trooper’s home and cell phones and describe what the trooper looked like and where the trooper was on duty and what the trooper was doing. He even claimed he knew where the trooper lived as well as where the trooper’s mother lived.
