Time Warp (Yet Again)

It’s just about time for Halloween, which means haunted houses have flung open their doors, and at least one metro theater company feels required to act out a certain classic story about impressionable newlyweds and alien transvestites. OK, so maybe it’s also the 35th anniversary of Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show. Even so, the latest local production of the musical doesn’t need to exist — who out there really needs to learn to do the time warp (again)? But Eubank Productions is behind it, so at least it will be good. Expect camp, sexiness and raunch delivered in a way that will make you blush for all the right reasons. A monthlong run opens at 8 p.m. at the Off Center Theatre, on the third level of Crown Center (2450 Grand). For tickets and additional show times, see eubankproductions.com or call 816-842-9999.
