Tiffani Hayes identified as yesterday’s homicide victim in Olathe

Olathe police have named Tiffani Hayes as the victim of yesterday’s homicide in Johnson County.

She was found shot to death in a home in the 400 block of East Spruce Thursday afternoon. She was 28.

Police spent about three hours yesterday searching for her future ex-husband, Terry Hayes, who they called a “person of interest.” The 39-year-old was taken into custody without incident. The couple had filed for divorce on April 7, citing irreconcilable differences.
