Throwback Thursday: Listen to Arthur Dodge’s ‘Cadillacs, Ponytails And Dirty Dreams’ ahead of his Friday show at the Replay

Once upon a time, it seems like you couldn’t go a few weeks without there being an Arthur Dodge show at the Replay Lounge. Be it solo acoustic or a full band show with the Horsefeathers, you could always count on the country troubadour slinging songs like our very own Townes Van Zandt.
Now that the man’s a husband and a father, things have mellowed, making any chance to see Mr. Dodge a reason for heading out. In an effort to convince you to head out, we suggest you take a listen to Arthur Dodge and the Horsefeathers’ 1998 album, Cadillacs, Ponytails And Dirty Dreams, below. You can thank us for the dose of roots rock later.
Dodge is performing as part of a duo tomorrow evening, opening for Heidi Lynn Gluck and Band. That duo’s called Mr. and Mrs. Dodge, and his singing partner is his wife, Meg Heriford, owner of Lawence’s Ladybird Diner. Buy her a drink when you see her. She could use it.
You can find details on Friday evening’s Replay Lounge show here.
