Three free songs from Soft Reeds

Soft Reeds is the Nashville-based project of ex-Kansas City musician Ben Grimes. Back in November, the Wayward Son wrote about how for Grimes — who used to front the Golden Republic — a departure from this scene was just what he needed to get his muse back. Today, Grimes posted new evidence of that — three Soft Reeds songs, free for downloading.

Update: Grimes is playing in Kansas City on June 5, for a First Friday event at Bridgeport Art Space (112 West 18th St.).
