Thomas Robinson of KU cited for battery in altercation outside Lawrence nightclub

Just days after announcing that he’d return for his junior season at the University of Kansas, Thomas Robinson was allegedly involved in an altercation outside a Lawrence nightclub.

The Lawrence Journal-World spoke with Adam Lauridsen, a bouncer at the Cave, and he told the paper that several members of the basketball team were outside the bar around closing time on April 10 when a person hanging out with the players (not a player) hit a bouncer on the head. Lauridsen said the players, including Robinson, tried to separate the man and the bouncer, but then Robinson allegedly got angry.
