This guy (allegedly) shot at police Saturday

The guy on the right, 17-year-old Derrick W. Forte, allegedly fired shots at police Saturday morning and ended up getting himself shot, police say.
Jackson County prosecutors charged Forte Tuesday with first-degree assault on a law enforcement officer and armed criminal action.
Court docs say police received a “suspicious person” call, so they went to investigate. They found Forte hanging out in a park at 67th and Paseo. One of the officers approached Forte, who was allegedly sitting on a picnic table, and asked him what he was doing. Forte allegedly pulled a gun, pointed it at the officer, pulled the trigger and ran.
The officer caught up with Forte in the front yard of a home at 1827 E. 67th Terrace, telling the teen to drop his weapon. Forte allegedly wouldn’t listen and started walking toward the officer while holding the handgun. The officer shot Forte “to alleviate the threat.”
A 9mm semi-automatic weapon was found at the scene of the confrontation.
