Thinking about robbing a bank this holiday season? You are not alone.

There may be no better time to rob a bank in the Kansas City metro area.
Various news outlets and the FBI are reporting dual bank robberies this morning — one in Kansas City and one in Lenexa. Seems like the FBI is really busy with these cases. It’s probably a good time to try and sneak one past ’em.
This morning’s first robbery took place around 11:30 a.m. at Bank of the West on 13080 West 87th Street, in Lenexa, where a thirtysomething guy in a blue Arizona hoodie said he had a bomb and demanded money before reportedly escaping in a black SUV.
The second took place within 30 minutes at Metcalf Bank at 9740 Wornall Road, where a 50-something guy demanded cash and fled in a white van.
