There’s some solid college basketball happening downtown over the next two nights

  • Gregg Marshall of Wichita State hopes to do it all over again this year.

The CBE Hall of Fame Classic is one of those small annual traditions that makes the winterish months here in Kansas City a little more bearable. This year, the four-team mini tournament is bringing to town Wichita State (fresh off its Cinderella run in the Final Four back in the spring), DePaul, Texas and Brigham Young University. It starts tonight at the Sprint Center.

Texas goes up against BYU at 6:30 p.m. Wichita State faces DePaul at 9 p.m. Tickets can be had for as low as $10.

It continues tomorrow, with the losers playing at 6:30 p.m. and the championship at 9 p.m.
