There’s a Bowie tribute coming to RecordBar this month

A tribute to David Bowie is taking shape at RecordBar on January 23. It’s hosted by Sonic Spectrum — that’s DJ Robert Moore — and it’s the first of many. Check it out:

RecordBar and Sonic Spectrum present the Sonic Spectrum Tribute Series beginning January 23. The monthly series will feature a different artist’s work covered by some of the finest Kansas City-area musicians. Sonic Spectrum host Robert Moore will curate the series selecting the tribute artist and the local lineup. Portions of the proceeds will go to Midwest Music Foundation. Moore will appear on Mark Manning’s Wednesday Midday Medley on KKFI 90.1 on January 19 at 11:15 a.m. to talk about the series.
