The Royals Head To Cleveland For Three-Game Weekend Set With Tribe
The Cleveland Indians will host the Kansas City Royals for a three game series beginning this Friday at Progressive Field. The Indians have not played well for most of the year and are currently slumping just prior to the All-Star break. However, despite being currently three games under .500 they are just seven and a half games back in the AL Central, but have to gain some ground with a series win over their division rival who are ahead them in the standings. The Royals are in the beginning stages of playing the majority of their next 17 games on the road but actually have a better record playing away from Kauffman Stadium. On the secondary market, only the first game of the series will be above the season average price for Indians tickets. The series as a whole will be 10.8% below the season average.
