The Royals didn’t win the World Series, but Kansas City will celebrate the season at Kauffman Stadium Thursday morning

Well, that was a bummer. The Royals lost game seven of the World Series but a heullva season still deserves a celebration. And that’s exactly what Kansas City is going to do Thursday morning at Kauffman Stadium.
Gates a the K open at 10:15 a.m., and the celebration starts at 11 a.m. The event is free, and expected to be in attendance are the players, manager Ned Yost, general manager Dayton Moore, Sluggerrr, Mayor Sly James and Jackson County Executive Mike Sanders. Ryan Lefebvre will play host.
If you can’t make it to the ballpark, the celebration will be broadcast live on Fox Sports Kansas City. But after last night, the stadium is the place to be.
