The Postal Service is coming to Kansas City (not on a Saturday)
The Postal Service released its electro-emo classic, Give Up, 10 years ago (tugs collar, glances around nervously). To commemorate this, the group’s only achievement, members Ben Gibbard, Jimmy Tamborello and Jenny Lewis are doing a bunch of dates this spring and summer. On Wednesday, July 31, they’ll be at the Midland.
Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. this Friday. The band also premiered a Funny or Die video today, with fake footage of Postal Service auditions from back in the day. Worth a watch.
