The Pistol closes?

The Pistol Social Club, located at 1219 Union down in the West Bottoms, has been the home for art shows, and shows for off-the-radar bands. This weekend, they posted the following missive to their Twitter account:

There are no longer any upcoming shows on their MySpace, and the June 2 Future Islands show has been moved to the Foundation Room. More news as we get it.
