Earlier this month, Blabbermouth.net, the blog of metal label Roadrunner Records, picked up Pitch writer Peter Rugg’s interview with Metallica’s Some Kind of Monster/St. Anger-era group psychologist, Phil Towle. Last week, Towle called us to let us know that Lars had read our piece and, according to Towle, liked it.

Phil Towle is the biggest snake oil salesman in history. Too bad Metallica fell into his trap for months. Glad the band wised up.

He’s a good psychologist.
I’m not fond of psycho bable bullshit either.
But the postive effects of Metallica’s theropy show on Death Magnetic.
