Last night’s Game 2 of the World Series lacked the hiccups of Game 1. Kansas City needed only nine innings to nab a 7-1 victory and a 2-0 lead over the New York Mets in the Series.

Johnny Cueto dominated, allowing just two hits and throwing a complete game. Cueto’s big night came at the right time, after the Royals burned through its bullpen during the 14-inning, five-hour, 5-4 Game 1 win.

A four-run fifth inning propelled the Royals.

Here’s the full recap.

KC has impressed one Mets fan. Comedian Jim Breuer has nothing but love for the Royals, calling them “savages,” in the best possible way.
