The Kansas City Royals are still undefeated in Spring Training
That feeling, that little itch, next to your heart. That’s hope, Kansas City. You probably don’t want to admit that you feel it. You’ve had that tickle before, and it all too recently ended in heartache. But the Chiefs’ recent flurry of moves (including yesterday’s restructuring of Tyson Jackson’s contract to free up cap room and keep him) in conjunction with the Royals’ start to Spring Training is likely why you’ve got that warm spot of possibility under your shirt.
The Royals are undefeated through 11 games. After tying their first contest, they’ve won the last 10 times that they’ve stepped on the diamond. Half of that amount would have been enough to discuss what’s happening.
