The Greatest Piece of Merch Ever

Every band worth its salt has t-shirts, stickers, and music. The more punk of them have patches and pins, and your more corporate acts will throw images and logos on everything from air fresheners to Zippos.
But it takes a truly visionary act to create such a merchandising opportunity as debuted this Monday by Silver Sprocket Labs. They are now offering something you didn’t know you needed: an Andrew Jackson Jihad pillowcase!

The Phoenix folk-punkers have on the front an image for side-sleepers, while the obverse features an image for those who don’t feel like snuggling with Sean and Ben. It’s high-quality 180-thread-count cotton, and is perhaps the greatest piece of band merch ever.
Andrew Jackson Jihad recently released the Pug Life split with Apocalypse Meow on the ever-fabulous Traffic Street Records, and will release their second full-length for Asian Man, Candy Cigarettes, Cap Guns, Issue Problems! and Such, later this year. They’re also in the planning stages for their fifth-anniversary tour. Dates have yet to be announced, but they haven’t been through here lately, so we can all hope they’ll bless us with their presence once more.
