The Download Extra: Cure Tribute, New Bat for Lashes MP3

After one has had a 30-year career of making music, one is bound to be immortalized with a few covers. Then again, if the selections on Perfect as Cats: a Tribute to the Cure are any indication, Robert Smith should have thought about packing it in around 1990. Chock full of early Cure (the newest song on it is from Disintegration), the double album will be available digitally on October 28 on the heels of the Cure’s yet-to-be-titled 13th LP and will include covers from the Dandy Warhols (“Primary”) and Xu Xu Fang (“Fascination Street”). Plus, proceeds go to providing relief in Uganda.
