The Dead Girls may have the worst tour van in music history

… But at least they’re doing something about it. 

Local indie-rock veterans the Dead Girls have the opportunity to win a brand-new, tricked-out tour van through FanAddict, and the members made a clever little video documenting exactly why they deserve such a prize.

The band’s current ride is not equipped with air conditioning or a stereo, and the power windows don’t roll down, but there is some minimal air circulation through the rear passenger windows, which are attached to the van with tape.

Here is the Facebook page where you can watch the funny little video documenting the other various shortcomings of the van and vote for the Dead Girls to win the contest. Better hurry – there are only four more days left to vote, as the contest ends on October 14. The good news is that you can vote once every 24 hours on the Facebook page, so don’t hold back the local love.
